"Mom, why can't Oscar talk like Mickey Mouse does?"

"Why do you think he can't talk?"

"Because Mickey isn't real."

"That's right, he's just a cartoon.  That would be funny if he could talk, though.  What do you think he would say?"

"He would yell at Cael.  I think he doesn't like it when Cael blames all of his farts on him."

"Cael blames farts on the dog?"  News to me.

"Yeah.  And it hurts Oscar's feelings."

"I bet it would."

"But Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"Oscar doesn't mind when I do it."
