"Mommy, why don't dogs wear shoes?"

"Well, they don't need to.  God made them so that they can walk without shoes."

"Did God make them naked?"

"You're right.  They don't need clothes because they have fur." 

"And God made dogs pee on the carpet?"

"Nope.  Oscar did that one on his own."

"Ugh.  I guess Oscar needs to go to church."
