Now, if we are friends on Facebook you know that I have a running commentary of sorts that chronicles my kids' abundant craziness. Without a doubt, however, everyone's favorite is the "Caelism of the Day". Almost daily, Cael reveals a new thought/comment/puzzler that makes us all say, "Whhaaaa?" In fact, the COTD is what almost directly lead to this blog. I'll still put some on FB, but most of these gems will now reside here. So you'd better keep coming back!
Here's one to tide you over until next time. At Texas Roadhouse last night, out for a nice dinner with the fam (and Papa), Cael just can't help himself.
"Mommy, I have to poo!"
"Cael, shhh! You just don't say that in public. It's not good manners."
"Oh, okay, sorry.... Mommy, I have to poo AND PEE!"
Ahh.... much better.

Why the blog?
Hmm. That's a good one. I put this off for a long time because it just doesn't seem like I have enough to say to fill an entire blog. (Enter Cael.) Now that my big boy is three and talks NONSTOP, I have compiled an unusually large collection of gems that he has decided to share with the world. And, as great as Facebook may be, it's just not a big enough audience for his gigantic personality. So here we are!
If Graham proves to follow in Cael's footsteps, I think we can expect an equal number of real showstoppers over the years. Which will be a welcome change from his current vocabulary of "mama", "dada" and "whoa!" (ala Joey Laurence from Blossom). That right there is pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
So stick around. Maybe I'll come up with something interesting to say, too. Or maybe not. It is what it is. :)
